Andrea Sacco-Baldacchino is a young artist who specialises in Heraldic art. His full-time employment is that of a Visual Editor and Visual Director within a well-known media company.
He started specialising in Heraldic art in 2013 after being involved directly in various projects working closely with individuals who are experts within the sector of heraldry.
His passion for art started at a young age where he studied traditional art under the careful teachings of various lecturers. He continued his journey within the art sector as a freelance artist, teaching himself various mediums of art, where for the past few year he has been specialising in Maltese heraldic art and also that internationally.
Sacco-Baldacchino has worked closely to people who are well known within the sector of Heraldry within Malta and has also done work for the The Committee of Privileges of the Maltese Nobility. He has also done work for the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George where through his work within the heraldic sector has led him to becoming a member of the same order with a bronze medal of merit.
In 2018 he enrolled as a member of an Italian organisation specialising in heraldic work, Real Academia Sancti Ambrosii Martyris and in 2019 he joined the Russian Nobility Assembly - Maltese delegation and through his work he was awarded the Anna medal (House of Romanov). He is also became a Knight in the Order of St Michael of the Wing (Portugal).
